A. Use a portable anti-static pad and wrist strap, ensuring all components remain on the mat, and the wrist strap is connected to the mat.
B. Leave the computer plugged in and running, to stabilize the power, and keep one hand on the case at all times while working on the unit.
C. Use a wrist strap, connecting it to the computer case. Leave the computer plugged into the outlet for grounding.
D. Advise the customer it is best if the computer is taken back to the shop for repair, so it will be in a controlled temperature environment.

A. Connect the new DVD drive as the primary on the secondary bus and leave the old CD drive disconnected.
B. Move the secondary hard drive next to the primary hard drive and connect to the primary bus. Connect the new DVD drive as the slave on the secondary bus.
C. Move the secondary hard drive from the secondary to the primary bus and then reformat the hard drive after rebooting then reassign the drive letters in disk management prior to installing the new DVD drive on the secondary bus.
D. Move the secondary hard drive to the bay and then connect it to the primary bus. Connect themini-tower and the new DVD drive as the master on the secondary bus.
